Hearty Congratulations and Happy 72nd Birthday, Òjògbón Àgbà Pàtàkì Eégun Ológbojò, Ako Erinlá a borí poopo! Thank God Almighty for the journey thus far, it is divine grace, pure and simple, and all the Glory goes to Bab-God the awesome Almighty Jehovah El-Sabaoth, for His faithfulness, goodness, enduring mercy, and amazing love in your life, home, career, and in everything concerning you and Yeye! You’re the typical example of “the man with more than NINE lives! For what and who you are, today, it could only have been God Almighty Who made a special specie, an ÀKÀNDÁ ÈNÎYÀN, of the human being out of you next to the divine, hence your uncommon elements with which your humanity, humaneness and largeness of heart were cast. In you there’s no guile, you are ever careful to hurt as little as a fly, yet some folks, at every bus station of your life’s journey and career, those who were supposed to be mentors, those you mentored and were your beneficiaries, and some with warped minds who hardly knew you in person, but all of whom either noted your elephantine potential, and, or provoked by your amazing and uncommon accomplishments deliberately chose to make you their target of hurtful and near-tragic vendetta, almost on daily basis! Ayé!
You bear in your Christly and hurting heart the many agonies and pains of both your friends, and of those your beneficiaries who now constitute his adversaries, as well as the pains of destitution of the oppressed, some of whom you single-handed and sacrificially brought out of the pit of hopelessness to actualize their dreams.
It is my joy today to join others of like minds, friends and well wishers in celebrating you as you mark your 72 years, not with dûndún, bàtá, omele, gánga, îyáá’lû, etc, or the most celebrated musician in town, but with a heart full of gratitude and a thanksgiving offering to God Almighty Who made you to happen in the lives of teaming crowd of scholars across the globe, and your enduring legacies as a blessing to humanity as a whole. Wishing you many more fruitful years of service to God Almighty through your quality service to humanity, in general, in robust health, peace of mind, joy that overflows, prosperity that is holistic, with longevity and fulfilled life.
